dentist for Daly City residents creates beautiful, healthy smiles

Dr. Leo Arellano is committed to helping his patients enjoy the best oral health possible. He was a dental hygienist before he became a dentist, and he provides his patients with the best of both worlds. A hygienist’s role in dentistry is prevention oriented, and the doctor still believes that prevention is the best dental treatment possible. He never lectures his patients, even if it has been a long time since they have received dental care. He is always looking forward, and focuses on patients becoming healthier and maintaining their oral health. He provides a wide array of restorative services to help patients reach their goals.

Gum disease

This is a very common oral condition, which will affect the majority of adults at some point in their life. As this condition progresses, it damages the bone and gum tissue that support the teeth. In addition to the standard scaling and root planing, Dr. Arellano offers ozone and laser therapy treatments. When these treatments are combined with a good oral hygiene routine, the progression of the disease can be controlled. Daly City residents creates beautiful, healthy smiles

Orthodontic problems

When teeth are crowded, have excessive space between them, or are misaligned, it has a negative effect on a person’s smile. Additionally, they can have an impact on oral health by making oral hygiene difficult and creating places that plaque can be trapped. Invisalign® can correct a number of orthodontic problems without requiring a patient to wear metal braces. They are simple, effective, and virtually invisible, making them the perfect option for many of Dr. Arellano’s patients from Daly City.

Dental implants

A dental implant is a popular way of replacing a missing tooth because it provides the most natural restoration, and will prevent the bone loss that can occur around the empty socket. An implant is essentially an artificial tooth root that is implanted in the jaw and covered with a crown. The restored tooth can stand on its own, and it is as stable and strong as a natural tooth. This method of restoration is conservative because it does not rely on healthy teeth to support it.

What our patients are saying...

I’ve been going to Dr. Arellano for about 20 years and I continue because of the excellent care and treatment I get with him and his whole office team. He is both professional and personable.
Recently I had a newer technique of gum surgery/grafting at his office called, “Pinhole Surgical Technique of gum grafting.” I personally found this to be much easier to handle than the other style of gum grafting that I received years ago for the other side of my mouth. That worked, it was where part of my roof of my mouth was cut and surgically sewn onto the gum. However, I much prefer the pinhole technique. It was actually the easiest dental work I’ve had (beyond regular cleaning) It didn’t take too long and it didn’t feel uncomfortable getting it done.... More Reviews
